Mitzi is our manager, scheduler and multi-tasker. She coordinates every aspect of the practice, including scheduling surgery, documents, authorizations. . . and so much more. She keeps us all calm as we navigate the digital-age healthcare system. She also keeps the plants alive and genuinely cares about our patients.
Christina is our nurse and and billing specialist. She reviews tests with Dr. Ortiz and calls every patient with results. Before joining us in 2008, she was a visiting wound care and school nurse. She reviews insurance plans, determines benefits and has experience, skill and compassion. She has a green thumb and keeps the orchids blossoming and is an all-around wonderful nurse.
